Inside the e-Learning Authoring
Tool |
- Easy to Use:
The e-Learning Authoring Tool is easy to use. You
simply add pages to create the structure of your course (the
course outline). You can change the organization of the course
outline at any time through cut, copy, paste, drag and drop. After
you create the structure of your course, you select a page in the
course structure and specify the page's type plus its content. The
page types include information, single-question, quiz, tests and
summary. There are built-in editors to make it quick and easy to
create the content for each type of page.
- Rich Text: The e-Learning
Authoring tool has a built-in HTML editor that lets you create
pages containing rich text. The HTML editor has all of the word
processing features you are familiar with including multiple
fonts, bold, italics, underline, bullets, numbered lists, colors,
tables, paragraph formatting and more.
- Rich Media: You can create Flash
animations, audio and/or video created with your favorite media
editors and add these media elements to your course. The
e-Learning Authoring Tool supports JPEG, GIF and PNG images; SWF
Flash animations; FLV, MP3 and WMA audio; and FLV, MPEG and WMV
video.
- Question Pages:
The e-Learning Authoring Tool lets you add pages to your course
that contain a question. These questions can be true-false,
multiple-choice and matching type questions.
- Quizzes: The e-Learning
Authoring Tool has a built-in editor that lets you create quizzes
within your course. A quiz contains one or more pools of questions, and the course can
deliver all or some of the questions in each pool to the learner.
The learner is allowed to check his or her answers as they go. You
control how the quiz contributes to the overall course score, and
requirements to continue with the course.
|
- Tests: The e-Learning Authoring
Tool has a built-in editor that lets you create tests within your
course. A test contains one or more pools of questions, and the course can
deliver all or some of the questions in each pool to the learner.
The learner may grade the test at anytime to get a score and a
summary of his or her performance.
- Summary Page:
The summary page is used to provide a summary of the learner's performance within
the course. You may decide to make the summary page look like a
certificate. Variables can be included within the summary page to
display course specific information, such as the learners name,
the date, and the score for the course.
- Course Completion: You can
decide what the learner has to do to complete a course. You can
decide that the learner must visit, complete or pass one or more
pages within the course.
- Navigation Control: You can
create a course that lets the learner naivgate freely to any
portion of the course or you can require the learner to visit,
complete or pass one or more pages before he or she can navigate
further in the course.
- SCORM: The
e-Learning Authoring Tool fully supports SCORM
1.2 and SCORM 2004. SCORM is an e-learning standard that will
allow your course to work with any Learning Management
System that supports the SCORM standard. When you launch your
course from a Learning Management System, your course will report
the course status (incomplete, completed, passed or failed), the score (if
you include quizzes or tests), and the learner's responses
to questions within your course.
Your course will automatically save and restore bookmarks so the learners
can take the course in multiple sessions when launched from a
Learning Management System.
- Customization Available: We can customize
the e-Learning Authoring Tool for your specific needs. In most cases, you can have the custom authoring tools
you need in one to two weeks. Call
or email for a free consultation.
